We understand how reputations are built and how important it is to safeguard reputation from wrong perceptions. Most importantly, we know how to effectively manage crises as well as help with the recovery process. Our team has helped, advised and prepared a large number of organisations to successfully face a series of crises and come out with their reputations intact. Helping a major corporate with its restructuring programme
THE CHALLENGEThe company appointed Fidel&Fortis to assist it with all aspects of the restructuring programme, including internal comms, stakeholder management and media relations.
Fidel&Fortis developed a comprehensive communications strategy for the implementation of the programme: we identified the key stakeholders and audiences for the company, highlighted potential risks and outcomes and developed key messages for each stakeholder group.
STRATEGIC THINKING, APPROPRIATE TACTICS AND CAREFUL PLANNING, THE
TRADEMARKS OF OUR WORK, RESULTED IN THE COMPANY'S CONTINUED
OPERATIONS IN THE MARKET AND ITS REPUTATION LEFT INTACT.
We prepared all the material relating to the programme, from employee communications to media statements and press releases. We worked with company executives to prepare them, as they communicated the changes to staff. We acted as the company’s press office, liaising with media to minimise negative publicity, communicating key authorities and regulators and there was no negative publicity around the restructuring. Strategic thinking, appropriate tactics and careful planning, the trademarks of our work, resulted in the company’s continued operation in the market and its reputation left intact.
